Who we are
This website is operated by Dive Team The Fat Flippers (DTTFF), a recreational and technical diving team based in the Netherlands. Contact: info@dttff.com.
What data we collect
We only collect analytics data, and only if you consent. When you accept cookies we load Google Analytics (GA4), which collects:
- Pages visited and time spent
- Approximate location (country/city level — not precise)
- Device type and browser
- How you arrived at the site (referral source)
IP addresses are anonymised before any data is stored. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other personally identifiable information.
Why we collect it
We use analytics solely to understand which content is most useful to visitors. We do not use the data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.
Legal basis
Processing is based on your explicit consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time using the button below — this stops all future tracking and removes the stored preference from your browser.
Google Analytics
Analytics data is processed by Google LLC under a data processing agreement. Google may transfer data to servers outside the EEA; this is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses. For more information see Google's privacy policy. Data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data, and to object to processing. Because we collect no directly identifiable data, most requests can be fulfilled by simply withdrawing consent above. For other requests contact info@dttff.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Cookies
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets cookies on your device (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) that persist for up to 2 years. We also store your consent choice in localStorage so we don't ask again on every visit. No other cookies are set by this website.

If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
